I left school at 16 and started my tax career with the Inland Revenue (now HMRC) in 1979 as a PAYE specialist.  Within 2 years I was promoted and passed internal examinations in personal taxation and continued my career with the Inland Revenue as a caseworker for a further 6 years.

I was then invited to join a firm of Chartered Accountants in Grays Inn, London to specialise in the personal tax affairs of barrister clients and gain experience in dealing with the personal tax affairs of high net worth individuals.

After starting a family I then worked as a financial adviser locally for 2 years. I was then drawn back into the personal tax profession and was invited to join a local firm of Chartered Accountants.

I joined Evolve Tax  Accountancy LLP in April 2012 working in personal tax and payroll. I feel honoured and privileged to be working with such a skilled team of individuals.
