After starting my career in general practice with a large firm of accountants in the south west, in 2002 I moved into the more specialist area of landed estates with a smaller but national firm.

Over the next five years I provided tax and accountancy services to a portfolio of clients ranging from sports related businesses to large landed estates consisting of agriculture, property, equestrian, shooting and diversified estate activities, and advised on all areas of tax and accountancy including, accounting software, VAT, capital gains tax and inheritance tax.

Since moving back to East Anglia in 2007 I have focused on providing comprehensive tax and accountancy services to rural and owner-managed businesses.

In February 2010 I joined up with Paul, Stuart and the team to form the Baythorne End office of Evolve Tax & Accountancy LLP.

As so many of the businesses I deal with are family businesses I place particular importance on building up a thorough understanding of the business and the owner’s or family’s circumstances at an early stage so that I can provide proactive advice and a service tailored to each individual client.
